Summary:
--------
  Phenol and its derivatives form highly colored coordination complexes
  with ferrous and ferric ions.

Description:
------------
A set of experiments is performed with two types of solutions of iron-salt and
a range of solutions of common photographic developers and reseorcinol. The
following solutions of iron-salts are prepared:
  ferrous sulfate
  ferric chloride, acidified with some hydrochloric acid

To these solutions the photo developers were added. Each developer was added
to its own solution of iron-salt.
