Description of experiment

Below follows a plain text transcript of the selected experiment.

Needed compounds:
-----------------
  phosphoric acid : H3PO4

Class:
------
  elem=P
  coordination

Summary:
--------
  When phosphoric acid is mixed with water, then some heat is produced, but
  this is much less than the heat, produced on mixing water with sulphuric
  acid.

Description:
------------
Mix approximately equal amounts of phosphoric acid (appr. 85% by weight)
with water: Both liquids can be mixed and the temperature rises noticeably.
The liquid becomes luke-warm.
