Zinc is available in the form of fine powder (dangerous, pyrophoric!), coarser 'powder', as shown in this sample and as chunks of larger size, as shown on top of the coarse 'powder'. The zinc in this sample is all reagent grade, purity 99.9+ %. Zinc is a relatively cheap reductor, which is definitely worth to have in a more serious home lab. However, avoid the very fine powders.
