A sample of industrial grade lead, 99+ %. This lead is powdered, with a particle size at the order of magnitude of 300 μm.

Below follows a picture of a larger chunk of very pure lead (99.99+ %), which is only slightly tarnished in air. The metal itself is grey, the lustre appears somewhat yellow, but this is due to the slight tarnishing of the metal. The sample shown here has a weight of just over 100 grams.
