This is a sample of 2.7 grams of iridium. This is a very expensive metal, which also is very inert. The metal is looking nice and shiny. The picture below shows the cut of the metal, which is quite smooth. A little piece of carbon is put in front of the metal's cut, in order to demonstrate its reflective properties.
