Calcium  -  Ca

Small pieces of calcium metal in sealed tubes. This picture shows approximately 5 grams of calcium metal. The metal is somewhat oxidized, but there also still are nice and shiny pieces of metal, as is shown by the close-up below. The metal color is yellowish/silvery, but when the metal is oxidized a little, then it becomes covered by a grey layer.

Calcium can also exist in the form of dendrites. Below follow pictures of pieces of calcium in the form of dendrites. The amount shown is a few tens of grams. These dendrites are a rare form of calcium and were donated to me by the person, known as eBay seller chemdreamland.
